    Our Mission Statement

The Church at All Saints, Hordle and St. Andrew's, Tiptoe exists to:

    • Worship God in Spirit and in Truth

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth.   - John 4:23

    • Grow in Faith and Fellowship

From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.   - Ephesians 4:16

    • Reach out with the Gospel

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.   - Matthew 28:19

    Our Parish verse for 2017:

Where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is freedom.  2 Corinthians 3: 17b

    During Lent:

    Sermon series: In The Wilderness

Lent is often considered as a time of the year for reflection and soul searching. It is also the time of year when we particularly remember Jesus’ time in the desert or the wilderness, so the sermons for the 6 weeks of Lent are based around the theme of ‘In the Wilderness’.

We all have times in our lives when we are in the wilderness. We feel that God is far away, perhaps even abandoned us. James Houston wrote “These times are no place for clichés, theories and shallow presumptions. Rather it is the place where we may reach rock-bottom, only to discover the Rock at the bottom of it all’.

The titles for the 6 weeks are:

    Time of Learning  (5 March)

    Time of Challenge  (12 March)

    Time of Dependence  (19 March)

    Time of Comfort  (26 March)

    Time of Doubt  (2 April)

Time of New Beginnings  (9 April)
